Kennington Capital and its affiliates are comprised of real estate professionals with over 50 years of combined experience in the fields of marketing, commercial property development, property management, maintenance, accounting, leasing and investments. Clayton Kennington has been actively involved in real estate development, investment and finance for over 10 years. He founded Kennington Capital in 2006, after working 5 years extensively alongside his father, David Kennington, in various aspects of the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and asset management of over one million square feet of office and industrial space with an aggregate value exceeding $80 million. Prior to joining Kennington, Mr. Kennington worked as a senior consultant in the Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group of Ernst & Young, LLP. At present, Mr. Kennington is responsible for managing various commercial real estate leasing, investment, finance, and on-going debt and equity capital activities. He is actively involved with the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), the National Association of Industrial Office Parks (NAIOP), the Real Estate Council, and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Mr. Kennington received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Betsy McCann joined the Kennington family in 2002, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in property management. Prior to Kennington, Ms. McCann served in various property management roles at Emerson Partners, Fults Realty Corporation, P.O.’B. Montgomery & Company, and Vantage Management Company. Since joining Kennington, she has been responsible for various aspects of the property management of approximately one million square feet of office showroom, industrial warehouse and retail space. Ms. McCann has extensive experience in working with major institutional owners including Allstate Life Insurance Company, Nationwide Life Insurance Company, and Capmark Financial Group. Ms. McCann received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Karen Warlick has over 20 years of experience in accounting and property management. Prior to joining the Kennington family in 2006, Ms. Warlick served as Senior Revenue Accountant at Prentiss Properties in Dallas, Texas, where she coordinated accounting efforts among the property managers, project accountants, and accounts payable. At Kennington, Ms. Warlick uses her strong financial background to lead the efforts with financial reporting, reconciliations, and account payables and receivables. Currently, she is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Ms. Warlick attended Richland College where she focused her studies on Business Management. |
